It’s had to avoid mentioning the increasing tensions between one time star of this blog, Donald Trump and North Korea, especially when you throw in another, arguably the most, famous name calling for mediation to prevent the doomsday clock ticking closer to midnight.

God’s representative on earth Pope Francis has once again opined that mediation should be used to avoid Armageddon.

"There are so many facilitators in the world, there are mediators who offer themselves, such as Norway for example" said the pontiff urging that the only “path is the path of negotiations, of a diplomatic solution".

Meanwhile in Richland Washington, Hanford Challenge workers are seeking better protection from vapours from the chemical factory met with a mediator in Seattle.

Hanford and the Plumbers and Steamfitters union are pursuing the Department of Energy and tank farm contractor, Washington River Protection Solutions.

The trial has been adjourned until March to allow for the talks to proceed.

Whilst Northwest Mediation has taken part in international commercial mediation we are yet to be approached to assist talks between Washington and Pyong-Yang so while we wait for the call if you’re having a dispute with your employer, family member, neighbour or contractor Northwest Mediation is ready to assist.

We can accommodate evening and weekend mediations so as to help with work and family commitments, call Ed Johnson on 07931318347 or at ed.johnson@northwestmediation.co.uk
